Today is better. Jack's anti-inflammatory is evidently helping - he wants to go out again (think I might withdraw those pills!!)
Missy is still being a pest but maybe not as much. The pills take 3-5 days to start having an effect. The best news is that I am able to hide the pill in her food. I can cope with her dementia, but just hope these pills calm her (and my) agitation.
It's been quite a week, with bad sleep, so I feel rather tired today. Tiredness always means fuzzy head.

Jack wouldn't walk far. He's slow but at least he is walking.

It will probably take a few days for the meds to work, its good to hear he is walking a little now and that Missy will take her pills in her food Z xxx

I've had a reasonable day, if a wee bit cold from the change in weather. My brain has gone totally numb again. Missy cat is driving me nuts tonight, but the pills take 3-5 days to work....day 3 tomoz. Jack's a bit livelier, the anti-inflammatory's seem to be working
Time for my bed...

There is slow improvement. Missy left one little morsel in her breakfast bowl - her ruddy pill!! I used the pill popper from the Vet and it went down on the second try. My fingers were clawed, but it is worth it. This is day 3. Surely she'll start to settle a little more.
Jack had more improvement yesterday than today. We slowly walked on the river (Thames). He played with some children for 5 minutes and then refused to walk any further. We had a slower walk home, but at least he isn't stopping every few steps.
I feel a bit lost and really don't know what I should expect.
Having another lazy day. Can't be bothered with the housework or the fish tank...left over chilli will ensure an even lazier day

Missy is certainly quietening down. Jack still isn't walking very well. I'm feeling low and despondent and I don't even know why I bother writing this any more.
