This new book section was added as a request by one of our members
A recent book I read is "Shoot the Damn Dog" by Sally Brampton. Her very personal testimony of her fight with depression is easy to read and will be easily identifiable by anyone experiencing depression.

I love historical books and crime, a bit of a contrast but my favourite authors are Alison Weir, Phillipa Gregory, Ian Rankin, John Connolly and Kathy Reichs

That is a good book Cat, I read it during a very low time I was having with depression, I could empathize with what she wrote so much.
My favorite author is Patricia Cornwell, her books are about a forensic pathologist.

I have just finished reading a book called running free by Kate allet it's the best book I have ever read and you won't be able to put it down from start to finish if I could recommend one thing you read that would be it it's so emotional and heart warming it actually made me cry.

sadly one of my favourite modern authors has passed away at only 47 but at zaf's suggestion I am currently reading an Eckhart tolle book "the power of now" not as many secret agents and assassins as i would normally choose but it is an interesting read
