hello everyone
I know that different things can affect different people in different ways whether that is negative or positive and it started me thinking as I have heard that certain foods can affect moods I know that music can sometimes make a difference with me and I thought it would be nice to list these things whether the foods have proven benefits or it just makes you personally feel better I would love to know and other things like music , literature or tv/films these can often have positive or even negative influences on us a piece of music that while is quite sad but can make me smile is Samuel barbers adagio for strings it's a famous piece but I heard it when my now wife played it for me many years ago in my room above the pub I ran at that time so that reminds me of better days the food is harder so I will think about it and post later I would love to hear your thoughts

Apparently Motzart is supposed to be particularly helpful to those of us with depression and while I do find some of his pieces soothing, personally I find some music helpful at times and other times so,ething else more effective.
There has been a lot written about foods affecting our mental health, particularly in the field of allergies and I do find some foods have a bad effect on me (mostly sugary or refined carbohydrates), I also find that eating a baked potato a couple opf hours before bed time helps me sleep but no idea why!

i'm pretty sure from a scientific standpoint nuts and seeds are supposed to be a good food to help and I love eating them as well !!!

I have read somewhere that certain natural oils are supposed to help depression. Natural oils are good for many things. I regularly take flaxseed oil capsules.
