Awe, was molly able to live with it? I don't know what to expect. I watched U Tube videos of cats with dementia and some were quite happily a bit mental!

Missy is very quiet today before she even took the meds for thyroids. My biggest fear was that she would detect the pill in her food, but she didn't. That saves a lot of trauma and heart ache. It will take 3-5 days before she calms down. Day one down, 2-3 to go. She is definitely to have an op in 3-4wks to remove the thyroids as it is only aggravating the dementia (and me!!). I still don't know what the outcome will be, things might go wrong with the kidneys. If we get the all clear in 3 weeks that the kidneys are fine, she can have meds for her back legs and an op for her thyroid.
AS for Jack, well, it is not really what I expected to hear. He has a problem in both his shoulders, probably arthritic. I think he might have the same issue with his back legs. He's a high energy, 5 yr old, Jack Russell; he must be in pain to refuse to walk. I have anti-inflammatories, but don't feel hopeful they'll help, but I hope I am wrong. He's due back in 5 days. If the pills help then they know it's his joints and will x-ray to see what's going on. If he's still not walking, they'll take blood etc
I'm totally done in tonight....completely numb, so might have an early night
Hope everyone is okay

Your fur babies are lucky to have you as their carer. So many animals are neglected. I know its hard but do just try and take each day as it comes.
